Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actress and actor, is well-known for her role as the lead in a variety of television shows as well as for her outstanding performances in films. Her work is a hit on Canadian and American TV. At the age of Emily was 12, she began to become interested in acting after she visited her elder sister Katie at the location of one of her film. Emily began attending classes in acting, and then auditioning when she realized that she was passionate about acting. Initially she bagged a few commercials before being selected for the Canadian children's television show Are You Afraid of the Dark? There was just one scene where she was unable to talk. When she was 15 years old, Emily got her first big break as she was a regular on the WB program Glory Days. Emily's appearance on the WB show Glory Days which ended up being cancelled after nine episodes, attracted the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer and was also a photographer. Teen listed her as the number one actress in her 20s. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 ranked Emily at 51.
